Pays to be organised?

Most of the time we end up rushing to get to places on time - except airports. Following this rule I sacrificed some sleep and aimed to be at the airport 2.5 hours instead of 2 hours before my flight, completely oblivious to the fact that the airport doesn't open until 0530. I am subsequently sitting outside (only -10 thank goodness) in my liberian summer clothes!

    Oh no, poor you!!!
    There was a mnor disaster here too...meltwater from the car has leaked along the carpet in the garage into like ten of our boxes... Will have to throw away all your photomags probably, and my parental mags. And half a box full of baby clothes (+ the other half being my my preggowear) is now waiting to get washed. No visible mould, but they smelled funny and were completely soaked, so their future is ratehr uncertain..
    And a box of photos. And some cups, but they will probably make it. And two boxes marked important papers. But I figured that they can't be that important since we have not looked in them for years. Could be stuff like your grades and mine though, so we will have to go through them.
    It boils down to though, that we can't keep anything in the garage anymore. Will have to go through stuff and give away most of the clothes. And we need some sort of additional storage solution so that we can keep things we want to save inside.. This we probably need to slve next week. I will in in the meantime go through everything taken inside (still 10 boxes in the garage that look dryish, they got to stay but probably only for this week though) and sort out what to keep.
    I probably can't be bothered selling things, so will give most stuff to second hand shops/charity, or throw out. (Or maybe we can give some stuff to one of the fleamarkets where you just hand stuff in?)I had to move everything along the back wall, and put some more on the side which is not wet (I think), no carpet there to lead the water to the boxes.
    Poor you too for sacrifcing half an hour sleep for nothing. Arlanda does not close like that, I had no idea!
