Flat out

Katie has started to hop over her midday nap every now and then but it takes it's toll at night time! We made the most of the hot weather with a swim in the lake after work this avo.

What can I say - the fuel gauge needs to be calibrated! The car said that it had enough to drive another 20km but gave up the ghost 5km from the petrol station. Oh well, these things happen when you keep the fuel weight down to maximise the cars efficiency.

Cheers for the book and lollies Finn and co! Katie thought it was great fun reading about the farting dog, and we are going to have a hard time convincing her that milk doesn't taste like strawberries no that she has got her magic straws!

Full speed ahead on the trike

She has been peddal very short distances for a while now with a lot of 'walking' in between. Now she is starting to peddal really well and is starting to get some steam up on flat areas. Uphill is a bit problematic but hey, it's a trike, not a mountain bike!

And then the sandman caught up to her!

After all that you think she would be tired...

You would think that she would nod off the moment her head hit the pillow but no! Several hours after we got back she was showing on signs of slowing down!
