Kind of like Jimmie's pies, but in a more fun version...

And then it snowed.

Tonight we are off to Uppsala to get a snow shovel!

In hunt of lollies

This afternoon one of Katies friends came over with an ice block in her hand. Katie asked if she could have one as well which was of course okay. When both of them had finished the ice blocks, Katie came down and asked me if they could have one more. When I said no she asked can I have one more then please? When I said no, the two girls huddled together and came up with a plan. "I know; let's go upstairs and ask your mum if we can have one instead". Sara fell for it of course and two girls came bouncing down the stairs very pleased with themselves. They were of course bitterly disappointed when they couldn't make it past the freezer gate keeper-me!

Later on that day they decided that if they weren't having any luck here then they would have to try elsewhere. Katie's friend came back dressed up as that witch and off they went trick or treating! Both of them came back with a small bowl of lollies and were very pleased with themselves! The boys in the neighbourhood were obviously impressed with the entrepreneurial skills of the two little girls and decided to get in on the gig. They all went away, got dressed up and then took another lap of the neighbourhood.

Needless to say, Katie won't be getting much in the way of Saturday lollies tomorrow!
