Happy birthday grandad. For those of you who don't know, grandad's nickname is bigbird. For Katie he will always be pippi - bird in swedish!

It was a horrible day in Uppsala so we headed off to stockholm for the day. Here is Katie trying to pat the monkeys (not allowed!) Shortly after patting a snake and a big hairy spider! Most people were reluctant to touch the spider but Katie got told off for touching everything when you where only allowed to stroke the legs!

Flat out

Katie has started to hop over her midday nap every now and then but it takes it's toll at night time! We made the most of the hot weather with a swim in the lake after work this avo.

Bugger!

What can I say - the fuel gauge needs to be calibrated! The car said that it had enough to drive another 20km but gave up the ghost 5km from the petrol station. Oh well, these things happen when you keep the fuel weight down to maximise the cars efficiency.
